Pampanga Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda has distributed cell phones with unlimited call, text, and data, and generator sets to 21 coastal barangays in the province.
“Layunin nito na gawing charging station ang bawat barangay hall at tiyaking konektado sa Kapitolyo tuwing may sakuna,” the Provincial Information Office (PIO) said.
Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda joined the governor in handing over the assistance to barangay beneficiaries.
Board Members Fritzie David Dizon, Dr. Kaye Naguit, Vince Clara, and Mymy Gonzales, Chief of Staff Angelina Blanco, and Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office Chief Janica Yambao were also present at the event.
