The City Tourism Office has officially revealed the ten barangays that will illuminate this year’s Giant Lantern Festival on December 13 — the night when Pampanga shines as the Christmas Capital of the Philippines.
This year’s Ligligan Parul will feature master lantern-makers:

• Byron Bondoc – Santo Niño
• Edmar David – San Nicolas
• Florante Parilla – Del Pilar
• Karl Ernest Quiwa – Santa Lucia
• Mark Niño Flores – Bulaon
• Mary Anne Torres – San Jose
• Ryan Joshua David – Del Rosario
• Syakina Leigh Bondoc – Calulut
• Teddy Aguilar – Dolores
Ten creators. Ten barangays. One timeless celebration of artistry, heritage, and the Kapampangan spirit.
See you at the Giant Lantern Festival 2025 on December 13 (Saturday), followed by exhibition nights. San Fernando once more transforms into the City of Light.
